We are big fans of pasta at my house, and spaghetti is one of our favorites. But, spaghetti just isn’t spaghetti without a couple meatballs on the plate!
I’ve spent many years trying to come up with the perfect meatball recipe. I wanted a meatball that was delicious, tender, and full of flavor. That’s why I love this recipe so much. The garlic powder and Italian seasoning give it flavor, the breadcrumbs and diced onion help to keep it moist and tender, and the eggs are the key to holding the meatballs together.
1 pound ground chuck
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or flavored)
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 medium onion, diced (or 1 teaspoon onion powder if your family refuses to eat onions)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.
Next, combine all of the ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl. Using your hands, mix the ingredients together, making sure that everything is fully incorporated.
Use your hands to roll the mixture into about 16 equal size meatballs. (Yes… I wear latex gloves when I’m making meatballs!)
Place the meatballs on a rimmed baking dish that has either been sprayed with cooking spray, or lightly coated in olive oil.
