During Lent, we eat a LOT of fish. We eat salmon (click here for my salmon recipe), we eat tuna casserole (one my back-up meals), and we eat a lot of frozen fish. Luckily, The Goose loves frozen fish, especially when it is slathered in this simple tartar sauce.
Simple Tartar Sauce
1/2 cup mayonnaise (you can use Miracle Whip if you prefer)
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon pickle relish
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until fully incorporated.
This simple tartar sauce makes a great dipping sauce for fish sticks, tastes great on a fish sandwich and will coax even the pickiest eaters into giving fish a try.
